Let’s Make This Easy — Here’s How My DJ Agreement Works
Look, I’m all about keeping things simple, stress-free, and full of good vibes.
The agreement I send through isn’t some scary fine-print trap — it’s just a quick way to make sure we’re both on the same page so your day runs perfectly.
Here’s the rundown 👇
1. Booking the Date
To lock me in, all you need to do is pay a non-refundable confirmation fee.
That secures your date — no one else can swoop in.
Once that’s done, we’re officially in business.
2. Final Payment
Your final payment is due 7 days before the big day (unless we’ve chatted about another plan).
If you’d rather pay cash on the night, no dramas — just let me know before the wedding so we can note it down properly.
3. Cancellations
Life happens.
If you cancel, your confirmation fee isn’t refunded — but if you’re just changing dates, I’ll do my best to transfer it across so you don’t lose out.
Easy.
4. Set-Up & Pack-Down
I arrive early to get set up and sound-check everything.
Please make sure I’ve got access to power, a flat space to set up, and enough room to work safely.
If there’s a delay (say, the room isn’t ready yet), no stress — we’ll roll with it — but it might slightly affect start times.
5. Music Requests
I love when couples get involved with the music — it’s your night!
Send me a few must-plays and do-not-plays ahead of time.
On the night, I’m happy to take requests within reason, but remember — your guests have been drinking. Some requests… let’s just say… belong in 2009 and should stay there 😅.
6. Guest Conduct (aka: Please Don’t Spill Drinks on $10K of Gear)
I get it — everyone’s pumped, the dance floor’s lit, and someone’s had one too many Aperols.
But here’s the deal:
No drinks near the decks, no leaning over the booth, and definitely no touching the equipment.
If guests interrupt or invade the DJ area, it can throw off the flow — so I appreciate your help in keeping my space clear.
You hired a professional — let me do my thing so we can keep the energy sky-high all night.
7. Damage or Misconduct
If someone damages my gear or behaves aggressively (yelling, harassing, or getting handsy), I reserve the right to pause or stop the music until it’s handled.
I’ve never had to, but safety and respect come first — for everyone involved.
8. Your Music, Your Vibe
I’ll always tailor the night to your crowd, read the room, and make sure every moment feels like you.
From ceremony vibes to dance floor chaos — I’ve got you covered.
9. Professionalism Promise
You’re not just booking “a DJ.”
You’re booking 25+ years of experience, prep, and care that goes into every event.
I’ll communicate clearly, show up early, and give 110%. Every. Single. Time.
10. Code of Conduct
At the end of the day — it’s about respect, fun, and professionalism.
I’ll treat your event with absolute care, and I ask the same in return.
Let’s keep it classy, vibey, and unforgettable.
In a Nutshell
This agreement isn’t about rules — it’s about making sure your night goes off without a hitch.
You’ve trusted me to bring the soundtrack to your celebration, and I take that seriously (but never too seriously 😉).
So let’s do it right.
Let’s make memories.
Let’s make it a vibe. ⚡️
